The RTRC, as an individual association, was founded February 2009 as one of the three divisions of the Riata Turf Club. The RTRC is for Thoroughbred racehorses solely, and assists the Riata Administration when governing Thoroughbred sanctioned races, such as the Triple Crown, Triple Tiara, and Breeder's Cup.
